Communities In Schools is the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization.
Communities in Schools of Milledgeville – Baldwin County, Inc. is a nonprofit located in and the county seat of Baldwin County in the U.S. state of Georgia. We provide the link between educators and the community, so that teachers are free to teach, and students – many in jeopardy of dropping out – have the opportunity to focus on learning. How You Can Help:
Donate – An investment in the future of our county. For more information on how to donate, click here.
Mentor or Tutor– Mentors provide a positive influence, encouragement and hope for young people often surrounded by negative influences. On the other hand, tutors help students in need of extra academic support. Tutors can provide them with positive reinforcement in an academic area. “Read to Me” Program is the current main focus to improve literacy, but math tutoring is also emphasized.
