Below: Students and teachers each wrote or drew something about kindness on strips of paper. They wrote or drew about something kind they’d done for others, something kind that someone had done for them, or something kind that they wanted to do. Teachers used those strips of paper to create a paper chain for their class and brought it to the assembly.

Welcome!

Important Reminders

1. Help fill our school’s uniform closets! Communities in Schools and Baldwin Family Connection are partnering for a school uniform drive. We are accepting all sizes of khaki, black, or navy pants and white, navy, red, or black collared shirts. In addition to the typical uniform items, we are in need of socks, underwear for boys and girls, belts, and shoes. The Uniform Drive will end on July 30th. For any questions, please call Jessica Choice at 478-452-3408.

2. Help send students back to the classroom prepared! Communities In Schools, Baldwin Family Connection and Wal-Mart are teaming up for the Build a Backpack School Supply Drive. A barrel will be in the entrance of the Milledgeville Wal-Mart starting Monday, July 14th through Friday, August 15th. All donations are appreciated, but the recommended supplies are: glue sticks, scissors, pens and pencils, three-ring binders, pocket folders, notebooks, calculators, markers and crayons, and backpacks.
